Hull:

Molded one-piece fiberglass laminate constructed to Gibb & Cox specifications.
Basic lamination alternate mat and roving ranging from 3/8" solid glass in sheer to 1" solid glass on centerline.
Balsa core from 12" below sheer to within about 1' below waterline for added strength.
Lead ballast is fixed, internal, glassed in place.
Molded gelcoat finish to protect fberglass from ultraviolet rays while providing an attractive finish. (White is standard).
Anti-fouling bottom paint in your choice of standard colours.
Deck, Cabin House, Cockpit:

Balsa core reinforced deck to provide additional stiffness and sound insulation.
Molded fiberglass headliner for additional thermal insulation.
Molded in non-skid to provide secure footing.
Molded in gutter with screened deck drains to eliminate standing water on deck and streaks on hull.
Two flush deck hatch storage lockers aft, one containing the LPG gas bottles, vented overboard.
Thru-deck attachment areas are solid glass (no core material). As a result there is no compression of core material and therefore a reduced probability of leaks.
Large cockpit seats - for comfortable seating or sleeping.
One cockpit locker and one built-in ice box.
Cockpit seats covered with solid teak stripping.
Solid teak grate.
Cockpit is self-bailing through 2" screened scuppers.
Entire cockpit sole can be removed in case the inboard engine (or optional generator) ever have to be taken out.
Custon fiberglass pedestal.
Hatches, Portlights & Vents:

Opening skylights with tinted lexan in forward and main cabins and over galley.
Ten opening ports with screens for additional ventilation.
Two large fixed ports.
Four 4" PVC cowl ventilators with chrome screw-in deck plates and two Tannoy vents.
Main and aft companionway sliding hatches of marinegrade teak plywood with solid teak trim.
Louvres in drop doors
Deck Hardware:

Custom-built Alumalloy bow casting with built-in anchor rollers to accommodate two standard size anchors side by side.
Two 12" bow cleats with chocks and two 10" stern - cleats with chocks.
12' anodized aluminum T-tracks, through-bolted, for genoa with two chromed cars each side.
Two self-tailing winches with two 8" and two 7" cleats for genoa.
One self-tailing winch with 7" cleat for main.
Double welded bow and stern pulpits with gate in upper part of stern pulpit.
Double vinyl covered life lines with gates on both sides.
Three each water and fuel fill deck plates and one holding tank discharge plate.
Hasps for padlocks on all deck hatches.
Toerails, grabrails, cockpit coamings and trim of solid, oiled teak.
Steering:

Hydraulic steering with 32" destroyer type wheel.
Throttle/gear shift, S" illuminated compass in stainless binnacle, as well as engine instrument panel with hourmeter and gages for: Amp., RPM, Water Temp., Oil Pressure, Fuel and Buzzer Alarm-sounding for low oil pressure or high water temperature-are mounted on the fiberglass pedestal.
I 1/2" bronze rudder stock keyed into fiberglas laminate.
Emergency tiller (may be used from two stations).
Auxiliary Power:

Volvo MD30 diesel engine with 50 amp. alternator and 2.37:1 reduction gear, delivering 50% surplus power.
Flex mounts, High capacity primary fuel filter, electrical start and push-pull cable shut-off.
Dual Racor fuel filters in parallel w/water sensor and vacuum gauge on one.
11/4" stainless steel propeller shaft with 3-blade bronze propeller.
Zinc collar on shaft.
Electrical:

Three 12 volt 105 amp. batteries.
Four-way vapour proof battery switch and battery isolator.
Deluxe 12 volt and 110 volt electrical panel with -21 + 12 volt circuit breakers w/amp & volt meters
-Alternator protection circuit breaker
-6 + 110 volt circuit breakers w / amp. & volt meters
-Battery Charge Indicator
-Automatic disconnect w / reverse polarity
110 volt 30 amp. Shore power outlet.
8 110 volt duplex outlets, ground-faulted for extra safety.
Low amperage and low maintenance fluorescent lights in galley, walkway, heads and engine room.
Hi-intensity individual bunk lights.
Gooseneck chart light at navigator's station.
Navigation lights mounted on bow and stern pulpits.
Forward range light, spreader and masthead anchor lights.
All wiring colour coded for ease of tracing.
Mechanical & Plumbing:

All thru hull fittings equipped with bronze seacoxs.
Water box (Sea chest) for all intake water, thus eliminating the need for several extra thru-hull fittings.
Combination engine driven and 110 volt refrigerator / freezer holdover plate system-water cooled.
Hot and Cold water pressure system with 12 gal. hot water tank. Water heated by engine or 110 volt shower power when at dock.
Two showers. Two heads, discharging either overboard or to a 45 gal. holding tank.
Fuel tanks of aluminum, water tanks of alumninum and I or fiberglass w / alum. tops-approx. 210 gal. fuel and 290 gal. water.
Whale Gusher 10 diaphragm type manual bilge pump, operated from cockpit.
Foot-operated galley pump as back-up to pressure water system.
Spars & Rigging:

Masts and booms extruded aluminum, painted, with aluminum spreaders.
Two top-action chrome winches on each mast. Slab reefing with reef system and winch on mainboom.
All Ixl9 stainless steel standing rigging-main uppers and forestay 5 / 16"-main lowers and backstay 1 / 4"-rnizzen shrouds 7 / 32", all with appropriate swaged turnbuckles with integral toggles.
Mainmast internal halyards. Mizen mast external halyard.
Main and Jib halyards 7xl9 stainless steel with dacron rope tails.
Mizzen halyard, boom topping lifts, main and jib sheets of braided dacron.
Hood seafurl for genoa.
Accomodations:
Fiberglass lower unit, teak cabin sole hatches throughout.
Aft cabin has two bunks (converts to a Queen size bunk) full size hanging locker, bureau, enclosed head with sink and shower. Numerous lockers and drawers.
Passageway from aft cabin to saloon contains workbench with additional chart stowage, bookcase and electrical panel above.
Saloon is located forward of separate navigation area and galley.
L-shaped dinette to port with easily stowed folding table.
Dinette converts to double bunk.
Starboard side 2 layouts available:
  1. 1. Two full-height chests of drawers, folding table between two easy chairs, built-in bar and fireplace.
  2. Settee type berth, built-in drawers underneath, shelves and liquor cabinet above backrest, fireplace.
Boxed in mast.
Enclosed head with vanity, sink and shower to port, hanging lockers to starboard.
Forward cabin with 2 bunks and fill-in cushion to convert to double bunk. Numerous lockers and drawers.
Galley:

U-shaped, formica, covered with teak trim.
7.5 cu. ft. refrigerator and 5 cu. ft. deep-freeze, both with shelves (Lower door in refrigerator.)
Two deep stainless steel sinks with removable covers.
Stainless steel 3-burner propane stove with oven and broiler.
LPG remote switch off controls.
Two 20 Ibs. tanks in lazarette hatch, vented over- board.
Built-in maple chopping board.
Built-in garbage bin.
Numerous lockers and drawers.
Standard Gear:

5" mattresses with zippered covers in aft and for- ward cabins.
4" mattresses with zippered covers in main cabin.
Four fire extinguishers.
7' Boat hook.
20H high tensile Danforth anchor with 150' 5 / 8" nylon anchor rode and shackle.
Two x 75' and Two x 50' 1/2" nylon docking lines.
Four large fenders with lines.
Two standard and two lock-in chrome winch handles.
